Meet Steve Harvey, P.Eng.
President
With Acadian ancesry in his blood, Steve Harvey is the founder and President of Acadia Engineering Inc. and a Professional Engineer with more than fifteen (15) years of experience in municipal, transportation, and land development engineering. Throughout his career, he has led the planning, design, contract administration, and construction oversight of a wide range of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, watermains, sanitary sewers, stormwater systems, subdivisions, and municipal facilities across Ontario.
Steve's professional background spans both the public and private sectors, having served municipalities, developers, utility providers, and engineering firms. His experience includes municipal infrastructure renewal, transportation engineering, development servicing, road needs studies, stormwater management, grading and drainage design, environmental approvals, and large-scale residential and commercial developments.
Under Steve's leadership, Acadia Engineering has developed a reputation for practical engineering solutions, responsive client service, and a strong focus on constructability, environmental regulatory compliance, and long-term infrastructure performance. He remains actively involved in projects from initial concept development through detailed design, tendering, construction administration, and project completion, ensuring that every project benefits from direct senior-level oversight.
